Cup O' Joe is a local Columbus coffee shop with tons of locations! They serve coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, sandwiches and sweets like muffins, cheesecake and brownies. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and in the case of the Grandview Heights location, the seating area is often full of OSU students studying and working on their laptops.
I spent a few hours in Cup O' Joe over the weekend, researching new recipes and reading one of my LibraryThing Early Reviewers books, The Argentinian Virgin by Jim Williams (I'll be posting a review on LibraryThing and Amazon.com soon!). I ordered a Caramel Cafe (which is coffee with caramel, half and half and whipped cream, I skipped the whip this time) and got comfortable at a small table with my iPad.
I like the overall atmosphere of Cup O' Joe, and the fact that the coffeeshop is a local company. The coffee is roasted here in Columbus and is delivered to coffeeshops within 48 hours. They have good espresso and coffee, and this location occasionally has these fantastic gluten-free brownies. In 2010, Cup O' Joe was voted the Best Coffee House in Columbus by Alive, Columbus Monthly and 614 Magazine!
